Cumberland County Schools is proud to announce that long-time educator Sheila Sochovka, who is an Exceptional Children’s (EC) teacher at Howard Hall and several other district schools, was recently named a North Carolina Educator of Excellence by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction’s Exceptional Children’s Division. The announcement came during a special dinner at the annual Exceptional Children’s Conference in Greensboro from Nov. 20 – 22. One EC educator from each district was selected to be honored during the annual gathering.
