BOB Hornet with BookThe Elementary Battle of the Books Cluster 5 competition will be held Wednesday, March 9th, in the AIT Building downtown. Nine students from Howard Hall will participate this year: Zoe Ferriol, Rebekah Gonsalves, Roger Latney, Lily Lin, Elinor Lowe, Isabella Luna, Aliyah Rios-Gallard, Benson Wang, and Nicole Wetzbarger. The team is coached by Lynn Kientz. Good luck, Battle of the Books Team!

All Pro DadHello Dads of Howard Hall!!

Would you like to start your day off with a free breakfast with your kiddos?! On Tuesday, March 15th at 7:15 a.m., Howard Hall Elementary will host its second All-Pro Dads breakfast. The breakfast will be located in the Media Center. This monthly breakfast is a chance to spend quality time with your child/children and other dads as you eat, celebrate, and engage in conversation. The breakfast is free, but you must register so that we order enough Chick-fil-A biscuits. Birdman Dave and BelleBirdman Dave will share his knowledge about birds with Howard Hall students next Friday. Birdman Dave has over 20 years of experience conducting assemblies and is a former teacher. He is a member of the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators and a member of the Audubon Society. The 3-5 assembly will be held at 8:30 and the K-2 assembly will be held at 9:30.

LightningBecause of the possibility of severe weather conditions, all Cumberland County schools and employees will be released two (2) hours early today (Wednesday, February 24, 2016).
 
All afternoon and evening activities  are cancelled.
 
Prime Time will be open no later than two (2) hours after the close of school.

CAROLINA PANTHERS SPIRIT WEEK

Howard Hall Classical Elementary School

Monday, February 1: Students will select their team to win the Super Bowl

Tuesday, February 2: Students will vote on their favorite Carolina Panther Player

Wednesday, February 3: Students will create a new slogan for the Panthers

Thursday, February 4: Students are invited to take a photo by the school marquee

Friday, February 5: Students will celebrate the Carolina Panthers in their Super Bowl 50 Bid- wear your Panther Colors, Paraphernalia, Gear, Jerseys, Hats, etc.
