Come to Our Book FairThe whole school is excited about the Book Fair. At the Book Fair you will find the latest titles for kids, as well as books of interest to parents. The Book Fair will open Monday morning, November 6th, at 7:15 and remain open until 2:00 daily through Tuesday, November 14th. Please note that the Book Fair will close at 10:30 on Thursday, November 9th due to the scheduled early release and will be closed on Friday, November 10th in observance of Veterans Day. On Wednesday, November 15th, the Book Fair will be open until 6:00 p.m. so that parents have an opportunity to shop. We will close Thursday morning, November 16th, at 10:00 a.m. This is a good time to buy Christmas presents, stock up for winter break, or contribute books to your child’s classroom library.  The Book Fair is a great way to get everyone excited about reading.

Cumberland County Schools sign that reads, Collaborate-Compete-SucceedCCS’ Next Superintendent: Tell Us What You Think!
 
The Cumberland County Board of Education has hired the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) to help facilitate its search for the next superintendent of the Cumberland County Schools (CCS). The Board wants direct input from members of the community to help shape the search process and to assist in defining the qualities and characteristics desired in the next CCS’ superintendent.
