Cumberland County Schools is proud to announce that long-time educator Sheila Sochovka, who is an Exceptional Children’s (EC) teacher at Howard Hall and several other district schools, was recently named a North Carolina Educator of Excellence by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction’s Exceptional Children’s Division. The announcement came during a special dinner at the annual Exceptional Children’s Conference in Greensboro from Nov. 20 – 22. One EC educator from each district was selected to be honored during the annual gathering. Read more

Community Eligibility Provision for 2019-2020

Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for 2019-2020. 65 CCS schools will provide students with a breakfast and lunch at no charge on days when school is in session. Visit https://bit.ly/2Gvq8io for more information and a complete list of participating schools.

Currently, Howard Hall is a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) School. This provision enables each student enrolled to receive a breakfast and lunch at no charge on days when school is in session. Students enrolled are not required to submit a lunch application to receive meals at no charge. For more information about Child Nutrition Services, please visit http://cn.ccs.k12.nc.us.
