Picture of a calendar page with eyeglasses laying on it.Cumberland County School System will close schools for students on Wednesday, May 16, changing the day to an optional workday for teachers and staff.  No make-up day for students or staff will be required.  High School exam schedules will be modified. Prime Time will be open for full day service in all sites that currently offer afternoon Prime Time.  Parents who need Prime Time services on May 16 should call the Prime Time office to register their child for the full day service.

Memorial Day is an American Federal holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day following the Civil War. It became an official Federal holiday in 1971. Please take the time this Memorial Day to remember our fallen soldiers.
